Figure 03 passes 1,000 units as AgiBot reaches 15,000 cumulative

Production milestones are stacking up: Figure 03 past 1,000 units, AgiBot at 15,000 cumulative, Atlas deployments advancing, and Optimus Gen 3 entering a low-volume ramp. The humanoid sector is crossing from pilot into something that looks like manufacturing.

The order-of-magnitude gap between Figure's thousand and AgiBot's fifteen thousand is not a scoreboard, it is two different strategies. One is deploying a smaller number of more capable units into demanding tasks; the other is building volume, and volume is what generates the operational data everyone says is the binding constraint.

Unit counts are also the least informative metric available, which is why they get quoted. A robot shipped is not a robot working, and cumulative production says nothing about deployment duration, task breadth, intervention rate or whether the units are still running. Those numbers exist internally and essentially never appear in public.

The genuine signal is that these are production figures at all. Two years ago the vocabulary was prototypes and demonstrations. Ramping manufacturing means supply chains, service networks and warranty exposure — commitments that are expensive to make and awkward to reverse, which makes them more credible than any demo video.
