Figure passed a thousand units and the counting methods diverged

BotQ built its thousandth Figure 03 on 23 July at roughly one robot per hour. Elsewhere Figure is reported at more than 10,000 deployments, and AgiBot at 15,000 cumulative. Three numbers, three different things being counted.

BotQ manufactured its thousandth Figure 03 on 23 July, with production continuing at roughly one robot per hour and BMW logistics expansion cited as the anchor deployment. Separately, Figure AI is reported to have surpassed 10,000 deployments across partner warehouses. AgiBot is reported at 15,000 cumulative.

Those figures are not comparable and should not be added together. "Units manufactured" counts objects leaving a line. "Deployments" may count robot-sites, robot-tasks, or cumulative placements including units since returned. "Cumulative" is doing similar work. Reporting that merges them produces a market size that nobody's factory could support.

One robot per hour is the number that resists spin. It implies roughly 8,000 units a year at continuous operation, and manufacturing lines do not run continuously. That is a real rate, a real constraint, and it is the sort of figure that lets you check the others.

Tesla's position is separate again: Optimus Gen 3 low-volume production was targeted for late July to August at the converted Fremont line, focused on internal factory tasks, with no confirmed third-party commercial availability. Deployed internally is a legitimate milestone and it is not the same claim as sold.
