Cloudflare's Agents Week gives every agent a computer, a network, and an email address
Cloudflare's second Agents Week is shipping an agent stack piece by piece: an @cloudflare/computer runtime that orchestrates between isolates and full Linux containers, a private Cloudflare Mesh network unifying agents, humans, and multicloud, native email send/receive for agents, and a Registrar API that lets an agent buy a domain from the terminal.
The framing matters more than any single product: Cloudflare is treating agents as a new class of cloud tenant. Giving each agent its own computer — a runtime that scales between lightweight isolates and full Linux containers as the task demands — plus its own private network fabric, its own email, and even its own ability to register domains, is infrastructure design for software that acts on its own behalf.
Browser Run, the renamed and upgraded browser-rendering service, is the operational tell. Live view, human-in-the-loop controls, session recordings, and quadrupled concurrency are features you build when agents browsing the web is production traffic, not a demo — and when the failure mode you fear is an unsupervised agent doing something its operator cannot see or stop.
The strategic bet is that the agent cloud will be won at the infrastructure layer, not the model layer. Models are interchangeable through routers; the place an agent lives — its compute, identity, network, and payment rails — is sticky. Cloudflare is racing the hyperscalers to be that place, and Agents Week is its bid filed in public.
